Diversified

Diversified technique is the most commonly used adjustment technique by chiropractors. Diversified is characterized by a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust and is considered the most generic chiropractic manipulative technique. It is differentiated from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and correct joint dysfuncion

Gonstead

The Gonstead adjustment is a specific force delivered by hand. This provides individual control over the adjustment so it can be varied to suit any situation and person. It is a very fast thrust, that is gentle and effective. The adjustment assists the body to begin its natural healing process. Gonstead adjustments are designed for maximum affect to the discs, while also working to restore normal motion.

Flexion Distraction

Flexion Distraction involves the use of a specialised table that simultaneously distracts (stretches) and flexes the spine in a gentle cyclic motion. The chiropractor applies gentle pressure to specific areas of contact that is intended to relieve pain, as well as restore motion to the spine.

Terminal Point Technique (TPR or Drop-piece)

This specific chiropractic technique uses a special table with several segments called drop pieces to facilitate adjustments. These table segments can be cocked up a fraction of an inch, so when the thrust is delivered, the table will drop. The drop pieces assist the thrust therefore minimizing the force used for the adjustment.
